‘Super Speeder’ law may cause students to slow down

If you have not made a New Year’s resolution yet the state of Georgia has one for you – slow it down on Georgia roads and stop the speeding habit.

On Jan. 1, a new law known as the “super speeder” law went into effect.

Anyone caught speeding 75 mph on any two-lane road or 85 mph on multiple lane roads anywhere in Georgia will be hit with an additional $200 fine, which will arrive separately from the original speeding fine.
