Independence Bowl sells out

The Independence Bowl is a sellout.

The Dec. 28 game pits Georgia against Texas A&M, and this year marks the first sellout for the game since the 2003 matchup between Arkansas and Missouri.

“I couldn’t be more excited and I think it says a great deal about what the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl means not only to local fans, but to our guests from Texas A&M and Georgia,” said 2009 bowl chairwoman Toni Goodin.
