Second-half run propels St. John’s past Bulldogs, 66-56

Georgia’s defense went missing once again, much to the chagrin of their head coach Mark Fox, and it cost them Wednesday night in a 66-56 loss to St. John’s at Madison Square Garden in New York City in the SEC-Big East Invitational.

Fox’s squad’s defense kept them in the game in the first half, entering halftime with a 28-25 deficit, and Georgia could have had the lead at intermission were it not for six missed free throws.
