UGA says no to PETA’s robotic Uga

The Bulldog Nation was set barking over Thanksgiving break after People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to the University requesting an alternative to a purebred, live Uga VIII.

“The Uga line of live mascots at the University of Georgia is a rich and long-standing tradition,” Claude Felton, associate athletic director, told The Red & Black Tuesday.
