Reshad Jones redeems poor 2008 game

ATLANTA – Reshad Jones wasn’t going to be a goat again, and he wasn’t going to let Willie Martinez be one either.

The majority of Georgia fans’ fingers were pointed squarely at the Bulldogs’ safety and defensive coordinator after Georgia’s embarrassing loss to Georgia Tech last season – at Jones for “the push,” an ill-fated attempt at shoving Tech running back Roddy Jones out of bounds, and at Martinez, for allowing his team to squander a 28-12 halftime lead.
