Change needed for U.S. foreign policy

In light of President Barack Obama’s substantial agenda, reforming American foreign aid may seem the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back – one issue on top of too many. The need for overhauling the American foreign aid system is great. At best, America’s foreign assistance program is viewed as unwieldy and ill-defined, and at worst irresponsible and harmful to global citizens.
